ADVERTISEMENT

Ladies and gentlemen, this week you are supposed to prepare a newspaper advertisement.

Please follow the procedure below.

1- Decide on a product or a service you want to advertise.

2- Draw a picture or take a photo to use in your advertisement. (Be sure that it is original and not a real product or advertisement)

3- Write a short slogan for the product.

4- Under the advertisement, give contact information of the company and some info about the product.

Newspaper Project 3

Hello friends. This week in the newspaper project you are going to comment on a photo that you will take.

Please follow the below procedure:

1- Take a photo that shows the student life in Eskisehir.

2- Write your comments about this photo. Please tell when and where you took it. What does the photo show? How does this photo make you feel?

3- Upload your photo to your blog page and publish your comment until April 10, 2009. Bring a printout of it to the class on Friday.

Hello friends.

This week you will write the second item for the newspaper project.

This week's task is a FILM REVIEW.

1- Please choose a movie you have watched. It can be your favorite movie, the movie you hated, or the one you have recently watched.

2- Write some information about its producer, director, actors or actresses.

3- Summarize the scenerio or the story which the movie tells.

4- You may give information about the soundtrack of the movie, the use of visual effects etc.

5- Write your criticisms about the movie. Did you like it or not? What was good about this movie? What were the bad points? Would you recommend this film to your friends? Why/ Why not?

Newspaper Project 1

Hello UpInt 6!!!

Welcome to your new writing class. You know we will create a class newspaper together. Here is the first task you should do:

1-Choose a cafe/ restaurant/ night club you like or don't like in Eskisehir.

2-Take a picture of it by using your mobile phones or digital cameras.

3- Write a review about this place. Describe it in detail, mention about its menu, service, staff, prices, atmosphere. Include your comments.

4- Write this review in your blog pages and post the picture.

5- Take a print out and bring a copy of it to the class to have peer comment.

Important Note!!! You should finish this task until the end of next week. In the last writing class next week we will have a peer feedback session on your texts.
